In this case, we expect a few thousand Dell 3189 Education 2-in-1 Chromebooks.  Dell offers this model currently at a starting price of $329.  It is marketed as a "2-in-1" which means it is a traditional clamshell notebook style Chromebook with an attached, non-removable keyboard that doubles as a tablet when you flip the 360 hinges and hide the keyboard.  It is considered a "2-in-1" because the model on Dell's site has a touchscreen.

So here is where our story begins: On select Dell 3189 2-in-1 Education Chromebooks, there was a defective touch board inside that caused an issue Dell's engineers called "ghost tapping or ghost clicking."  The fix requires that a new touch board replace the defective board and a firmware update be added to the device.  Since these boards aren't readily available, TKOED's fix is much less complicated.  We simply removed the defective touch board and are left with a perfectly good, "like new" Chromebook, but without the touchscreen ability.
